Big names in the history of football

If they say they are a big football fan, you know the legendary name in sports history. This legendary athletes remain an inspiration not only for football fans, but to aspiring players and athletes in general. Hall of Fame, annually by a committee in Canton, Ohio, honors players and coaches who have chosen a special effort in football. To learn about the players and coaches, past and present will be a deeper understanding of the sport. Here are some of the contributors and most respected coaches in football history.

Lance Alworth

The first AFL (American Football League), professional football players in the Hall of Fame honored Lance Alworth was one of the stars from the San Diego Chargers, ending the team in 1961. He later played for the Dallas Cowboys in the last two years of his career. When he retired, he had taken 542 yesterday and ran for a whopping 10 266 meters.

Bill Dudley

The nickname "the ball" during his college years at the University of Virginia, Bill Dudley reputation never lose your target. In 1942 he was invited to join the Pittsburgh Steelers, and during his first season, was named Rookie of the Year. Bill Dudley was drafted into the armed forces during World War II, but returned in 1945, just in time for football season.

George Halas

Aptly nicknamed "Mr. Everything" for his many talents, George Halas was a famous football player for the Chicago Bears, as well as a leader and coach of the Bears during his lifetime. Every year football teams compete in the finals of the George Halas Trophy with NFC.

Vince Lombardi

One of the most famous soccer American sports history, with countless Vince Lombardi Green Bay Packers victory. Resignation as coach in 1968, was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1971. The most coveted trophy in football is the Super Bowl trophy that bears his name.

Walter Payton

Walter Payton capture the major figures in professional football during his college years from Jackson State University, where he allegedly has a part to have 46 points in a game. The draft of 1975, was invited to play in the first round by the Chicago Bears. During her 13 years she published a total of 16 276 meters and became the most successful driver in the history of the NFL.

OJ Simpson

Born in 1947, Orenthal James Jones had a career as a successful college football, the Heisman Trophy won in 1968 by the largest margin ever. In 1969 he compiled the first player in the NFL and was one of the best runners in history. He was selected NFL Player of the Year four times, 1972, 1973, 1975 and 1976. OJ Simpson retired and pursued a career as an actor and television, and in 1994 was subdued, and acquitted of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ronald Goldman.

These people mentioned above have made American football become the most prestigious sport in the US. This is a good reason to watch Super Bowl online. It is a time to share in the emotions that American football brings.
